Our goal at Pinewood Shepherds is to produce the best quality German Shepherd Dog you can find anywhere.

The dogs we use for our breeding program are carefully selected to assure our customers that their pups came from healthy dogs with sound temperament. Each dog used for breeding has been x-rayed for clear hips. We carefully research the pedigree on these dogs for a history of proven parentage with several generations of x-rayed clear hips.

Each pup comes with a copy of the pedigree, showing the status on the titles and x-ray of the parents and grandparents.

In addition, the majority of the dogs in the pedigrees have working titles proving their sound temperament, intelligence and courage. The dogs we are producing make excellent companions and are eager to please their owners.

Our puppies are home-raised and leave clean, happy, and with a good health certificate. They have been veterinarian checked, have had two sets of shots and at least three wormings. Our relationship with our customers does not end with the purchase of the pup.

We encourage our customers to keep in touch with us and let us know how the dog is doing. If there are any problems or questions, we are always available for help and consultation.

If, for some reason, a customer is unable to keep his/her dog, we insist on being notified; we will try to find a new home for the dog or take him/her back into our kennel.

We offer our pups at a pet price with limited registration. Our pups are guaranteed against severe hip dysplasia. We just ask to be sent a copy of the dog's OFA (Orthapedic Foundation for Animals) evaluation and a copy of your spay/neuter certificate, both with your dog's personal identification number on it, and we will either replace your dog or refund your money.
